About Me.

Hi there, I am Amit and this is my story (so far). Generally dont prefer talking about myself i.e. at times considered bragging, however, as this is my first portal, I am inclined to give a sneak peak into my life and keep the tone of this section moderately casual. So, I was born in a family of 4 - Mom, Dad, Elder Bro and Me. Had an amazing, happening and exciting childhood, growing up in an intellectual and culturally diverse neighbourhood. This helped me to have cultural awareness of various festivals and cultures (consider it as Mini India). We were as kids invited for Onam cuisines by our neighbours and celebrated Lord Ayyappa Shobha Yatra along with the elephant with equal fanfare like we celebrated Holi and Deepawali. For Elementary, Middle and High school, went to Kendriya Vidyalaya, just like most of the kids growing up alongside. For graduation, as we had recently seen the dot com bubble burst, I was open to join CS, EXTC as well as core engineering fields like Mechanical or Electrical.

Finally ended up enrolling for Mech Engineering stream at Mumbai Univ.

Graduated in 2005, started job hunting with an open mind. Got few job offers, however most of them were site jobs and the starting package was not too exciting. So changed tracks and enrolled for Java programming course while appearing for Fresher job interviews. Finally started of as a consultant with a firm providing Quality Assurance and Validation services to various businesses (primarily FinTech, BFSI and ITeS). Fast forward 19 years, with a decade of experience working in FinTech, 9 years working on US healthcare with stints in US, UAE and Singapore, working with global teams and playing wide range of roles, have moved into Business Development for US Healthcare market.
